Description:The Bus Person creates a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring the dining room is clean, free from trash and debris, tables are set up properly and resetting tables in assigned stations. Assist food servers as needed. Maintain side station by stocking, cleaning, and making beverages when warranted.

The Host greets all guests with genuine enthusiasm and friendliness upon arrival, informs guests of their wait time, enters guest names into reservation system, and shows guests to their table. Coordinate and communicate with the wait staff regarding station assignment, seating, and general customer satisfaction. Oversee the dining room ambiance throughout the shift.
Duties:-Pre-bus tables/Bus tables
-Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware
-Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes and assure clean sanitation in side stations
-Responsible for basic food preparation and serving beverages

-Manage special seating requests of guests consistent with table availability
-Answers main phone line for restaurant and answers questions regarding meal specials, hours of operation, or special events
-Receive and record reservations by phone or in person
-Insures all menus are presentable and clean; notify Shift Supervisors if additional menus needed prior to the designated meal time
-Provides menus to guests once they are seated
-Sets up correct menu depending on time of day
-Maintains up to date of current menu, specials and promotions
-Assist servers and bussers with bussing duties as needed to assure proper quality and customer service
-Assist with cleaning, stocking and side duties if possible while maintaining all Host duties to customers & servers’ needs
-Monitor seating flow
-Run paging system; prioritize seating needs to accommodate those with special needs, tiered gaming or tribal privileges, managing the customer seating with a gracious manner
-Always thanks guests as they leave and invites them to return

Qualifications:• No experience required
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
• Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
• Must be able to pass a background investigation
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening
• Must possess/have the ability to obtain a current Food Handlers Certification
• Current Alcohol Server Card preferred
• Must be able to complete 7 Cedars Resort customer service program
• Ability to balance, and carry weight above the waist
• Must be able to work in a “smoker friendly” environment
• Must be available to work any shift (to include all hours, weekends, and/or holidays as job duties require)
• Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 40 lbs. unassisted
• Physical ability to access all areas of the property applicable to your position
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, crawling, stooping, climbing and twisting without restriction
• Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Must have the ability to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with customers, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
